Emma Lebutt: Equestrian Coach
I've been a qualified instructor working full time for nearly 20 years and currently hold the BHS Senior Coach in Complete Horsemanship (formerly BHSII) and UKCC3 qualifications and am a Centre 10 Advanced Coach ((rider performance & mental training).
When the riding school at Ivanhoe Equestrian closed in 2017 I embarked on the journey to develop my coaching by exploring my strengths, beliefs and values, and to be inquisitive and try to constantly learn and understand more about both riders, horses and their parnterships.

There are no quick fixes or shortcuts in my sessions and I encourage riders to explore how their horse thinks, acts and learns.
I am passionate that horses should learn what we ask by understanding and enjoyment, and for riders to develop their partnerships by building self awareness, confidence, knowledge and ability from the foundations upwards.
Correct training using kindness, consistency and awareness is paramount in all that we do with our horses.
I have a broad experience across all disciplines; I currently compete my horses under BD and BE, but have also competed in every discipline from sidesaddle to horseball and everything inbetween!
My "speciality" is retraining racehorses but this provides me with many learning opportunities and experiences to work with all types of horses and riders.
