Retrained Racehorses
We specialises in re-educating retired racehorses into confident, happy all-round performers.
Elsbeth retrained her first racehorse in the early 1960's, and having grown up with ""reject and problem" ponies Emma has found a passion in working with ex racehorses.
Our own horses have competeing in the both the RoR (Retraining of Racehorses) Show Horse and Retrained Racehorse Challenge finals, as well as other county showing classes, affiliated showjumping and dressage.
We have also produced and competed ex-racehorses for clients, whether their goal is to compete at the local riding club or at county shows.
However, competition success is to us the pinnacle of a long road of rehabilitation, and we have some horses who have achieved just as much by becoming happy, relaxed healthy horses at home.
Rehabilitation Liveries
We are able to take in long term liveries for rehabilitation following an illness or accident, including box rest, field rest and subsequently bringing back into work
We can supervise your horse for 24 hours a day, and benefit from our considerable expertise in nursing and vet-supervised rehab.
