About Us
Ivanhoe Equestrian is run by the mother and daughter team of Elsbeth and Emma, with the assistance of a part time team of support staff. We strive to maintain the family-led ethos upon which we were founded, and as such you will find we are a small and welcoming group.
Centre Manager & Chief Instructor:
Elsbeth LeButt has over 50 years experience in the equestrian industry from riding in point to point races to producing show ponies, but her passion is teaching and imparting knowledge to our riders, from the most novice or nervous beginner to ambitious career students.Yard Manager:
Emma LeButt maintains both the riding school yard and her own yard, specialising in reschooling and rehabilitating ex racehorses and competing them in all activities.Our Horses
Although at one point we had over 40 horses in work, we have cut back to a core of a dozen reliable and mannerly horses and ponies to suit all abilities and requirements.
We pride ourselves that our
horses are educated and well schooled,
all can manage basic dressage moves and have an ability to jump. Some
carry a sidesaddle, and some are still regularly out competeing and
hunting.
